The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Duty Engineer to join our team at The Garcha Group, Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide)’s boutique hotel group. This role will be based in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) and is full-time with no remote work option.

• Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems within the hotels, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and leading a team of engineers to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hotel engineering and be able to handle complex technical issues with ease.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of mechanical systems, ensuring they are running optimally.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on all equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure guest safety.
• Lead a team of engineers in executing preventative maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers effectively.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
