Welo Global, a brand of Welocalize, is seeking a Spanish Accessibility Tester to join its expanding network. This role involves validating the language-specific accessibility of localized digital content such as web pages, applications, and documents.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm correct language codes in HTML and PDF metadata and identify mixed-language content missing proper declarations.
  • Perform in-language screen reader testing using native-language tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, or Narrator to review translated accessible text for accuracy, natural phrasing, and clarity.
  • Ensure accessibility elements are accurate, understandable, and functional in the target language (Spanish).
  • Familiarity with Digital Accessibility standards such as PDF/UA, WCAG 2.1 & 2.2, and EN 301 549 to complement internal testing.
