Flipp is hiring a Senior Technical Account Lead in Canada for a full-time position that serves as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise retail partners across the Partner Technology team.
About the Role
Flipp partners with major North American retailers and brands to help shoppers discover local promotions and savings and make more informed purchase decisions. The Senior Technical Account Lead sits within the Partner Technology group, supplying technical leadership and integration support so external platforms and systems connect successfully with Flipp’s solutions. You will work alongside Sales, Product, Analytics, and Engineering to remove barriers, deepen retailer partnerships, and help reinvent weekly shopping planning for millions of consumers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Cultivate and own the technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise retail accounts, guiding partners to adopt and fully exploit Flipp capabilities.
- Design account-specific technical roadmaps and partnership plans that resolve retailer hurdles, surface expansion paths, and reinforce lasting collaboration.
- Drive onboarding and end-to-end execution of high-impact projects for enterprise and mid-market retailers, meeting commitments from kickoff through delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Analytics, and Engineering to define and launch improvements that lift performance, engagement, and measurable partner outcomes.
- Champion retailer perspectives inside Flipp by converting partner requirements into actionable product input that prioritizes real customer value.
Skills & Qualifications
- Five or more years in technical account management, client services, technical pre-sales, project management, or comparable client-facing work.
- Proven ability to lead projects that coordinate internal stakeholders and external clients through successful delivery.
- Solid commercial judgment and skill converting business problems into workable technology approaches.
- Experience achieving shared objectives with Product, Sales, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
- Comfort handling client objections, clarifying technical ideas, and advising manager- and director-level contacts.
- Excellent written and spoken communication across email, phone, video, and face-to-face settings.
- Working familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, APIs, and JSON.
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware, or comparable systems is an asset.
- PMP certification or similar project-management credentials is an asset but not mandatory.
