Role Overview
As the Outbound Lead Generator at Les in Lancashire (Hybrid), you will take ownership of proactive outreach designed to surface new prospects and convert initial interest into qualified openings for the sales team. Working full time, you will combine research, direct engagement and systematic follow-up to keep the pipeline healthy and focused on viable business conversations.
What You'll Do
- Execute high-volume outbound calling and multi-channel outreach to introduce Les offerings and capture early interest from target accounts.
- Qualify every contact by probing for need, authority, timing and budget so only genuine opportunities progress.
- Secure diary appointments or product demonstrations for internal sales colleagues with decision-ready prospects.
- Build and refine prospect lists through desk research into sectors, company size and key stakeholders.
- Log every interaction accurately in the CRM, ensuring notes, next steps and statuses remain current for seamless hand-over.
- Monitor personal activity metrics and adjust scripting and timing to maximise connect rates and conversion.
- Share frontier market intelligence with the team so collective approach continues to improve.
Requirements
- Hands-on background as an Outbound Lead Generator, telemarketer or sales development representative involving daily cold or warm outreach.
- Clear, confident telephone presence backed by active listening and the ability to handle objections smoothly.
- Comfort managing large call volumes while remaining organised and professional under pressure.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and standard office software for rapid data capture and reporting.
- Self-starter mentality alongside willingness to collaborate, receive coaching and contribute ideas.
- Ability to commit to full-time hours at the Hybrid / Office Based site in Lancashire and maintain consistent output.
