About the Role

The Auxiliar de Presupuestos - Civil supports the preparation, revision, and control of cost estimates for civil construction activities. Working from the Querétaro office, you will collaborate with project teams to keep every budget realistic, transparent, and aligned with site requirements. The full-time schedule allows deep involvement in each phase of cost management so that project owners receive reliable figures from the earliest conceptual stages through final account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Compile unit-price analyses and quantity take-offs for earthworks, concrete, steel reinforcement, drainage, and related civil elements.
• Update cost databases with current local market rates for materials, labor, and equipment common to Querétaro projects.
• Track actual expenses against committed budgets and flag variances promptly for corrective action.
• Prepare clear budget reports and change-order estimates for presentation to project managers and clients.
• Coordinate with field engineers to verify that site progress data matches forecasted cost curves.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files of all pricing worksheets, quotations, and historical cost data.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience assisting with budgets or cost estimates on civil construction projects.
• Strong command of spreadsheets and basic estimating software for rapid calculation and tabulation.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, production rates, and unit pricing used in Mexican civil works.
• Accurate data-entry skills and careful attention to detail under time pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities for team coordination in Querétaro.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple concurrent estimates.
