About the Role

This full-time LICENSURE CANDIDATE OR THERAPIST - PARKSIDE & MIDDLE SCHOOL, MARSHALL position centers on delivering school-based therapeutic support to children and adolescents in Marshall, Minnesota. Whether you are working toward independent licensure or already practicing as a therapist, you will partner with educators and families to strengthen student well-being, address emotional and behavioral needs, and contribute to a positive school climate at Parkside and the middle school campus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and crisis-informed counseling services to students at Parkside and the middle school
• Complete clinical assessments and develop clear, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Document sessions, progress notes, and care coordination accurately and on time
• Support preventative programming and skills groups that promote social-emotional growth
• Participate in meetings, case reviews, and schoolwide wellness initiatives
• If you are a licensure candidate, engage in supervised practice consistent with Minnesota requirements while serving the Marshall schools

Skills & Qualifications

• Clinical foundation in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field appropriate to school-based therapy or licensure candidacy
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health, trauma-informed approaches, and developmental needs
• Ability to build rapport with students, communicate clearly with adults, and work effectively in a school environment
• Organized documentation habits and comfort using electronic clinical records
• Flexibility, cultural humility, and a collaborative mindset for daily partnership with school staff
• Meet or be actively progressing toward credentials required to practice as a licensure candidate or therapist in Minnesota
