What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle for scheduled regional linehaul trips originating near Zionsville, Indiana
- Transport trailers between terminals and hubs while adhering to federal hours-of-service rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment readiness
- Secure loads, document paperwork, and coordinate drop-and-hook activities efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and communication procedures for FedEx Ground contractor linehaul service
- Return home daily after completing assigned regional routes
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers in linehaul or similar regional freight settings
- Clean driving record meeting Department of Transportation standards
- Ability to work full-time schedules that support home-daily regional runs from Zionsville, Indiana
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and clear radio or electronic communication
- Physical capability to perform standard driver duties associated with CDL-A linehaul work
