Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and optimise advanced cleaning processes tailored to sensitive components while ensuring compliance with stringent contamination-control standards
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale trials to evaluate cleaning agents, equipment parameters and sequence effectiveness
- Analyse residue, particle and film data using suitable metrology tools and translate findings into process improvements
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to integrate new cleaning protocols into existing production lines in Oberkochen
- Prepare detailed process documentation, risk assessments and work instructions that support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
- Monitor process performance metrics, investigate deviations and implement corrective actions for sustained cleanliness outcomes
- Support supplier evaluations and equipment qualification activities related to cleaning and contamination-control technologies
Requirements
- Degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, materials science or a closely related technical discipline
- Proven experience in process development focused on cleaning technologies or contamination control within precision manufacturing
- Sound understanding of surface chemistry, particle generation mechanisms and clean-related analytical methods
- Ability to apply statistical process control and structured problem-solving techniques to optimise production procedures
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical results and aligning stakeholders across departments
