Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and optimise advanced cleaning processes tailored to sensitive components while ensuring compliance with stringent contamination-control standards
• Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale trials to evaluate cleaning agents, equipment parameters and sequence effectiveness
• Analyse residue, particle and film data using suitable metrology tools and translate findings into process improvements
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to integrate new cleaning protocols into existing production lines in Oberkochen
• Prepare detailed process documentation, risk assessments and work instructions that support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
• Monitor process performance metrics, investigate deviations and implement corrective actions for sustained cleanliness outcomes
• Support supplier evaluations and equipment qualification activities related to cleaning and contamination-control technologies

Requirements

• Degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, materials science or a closely related technical discipline
• Proven experience in process development focused on cleaning technologies or contamination control within precision manufacturing

• Ability to apply statistical process control and structured problem-solving techniques to optimise production procedures
