About the Role

As the Autism Academic Coach at Uasys in Fayetteville, you will deliver individualized academic coaching that helps students with autism build executive functioning, study strategies, and classroom success skills. This full-time on-site role centers on practical, person-centered support within an educational environment, ensuring each student develops tools to manage coursework, organization, and learning challenges effectively.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver one-on-one academic coaching sessions tailored to the strengths and needs of students on the autism spectrum.
• Teach evidence-based study methods, time-management techniques, and organizational systems that improve assignment completion and exam readiness.
• Partner with instructors, advisors, and support staff to create consistent academic plans and monitor student progress.
• Facilitate small-group workshops on note-taking, self-advocacy, and campus resource navigation.
• Maintain clear documentation of coaching goals, strategies, and outcomes while adjusting approaches based on student feedback.
