About the Role

The Division Chair, Applied Clinical Psychology at Tcsedsystem holds primary academic and operational responsibility for the division across 2 locations. This position sets strategic priorities, cultivates faculty excellence, and advances rigorous training that prepares graduates for professional practice. The chair works closely with institutional stakeholders to strengthen program quality, uphold standards, and promote continuous improvement in teaching, clinical preparation, and scholarly activity.

What You'll Do

• Direct the overall vision, planning, and performance of the Applied Clinical Psychology division so that programs meet academic and professional expectations
• Lead faculty hiring, mentoring, evaluation, and development to build a collaborative and high-performing team
• Guide curriculum design, review, and continuous enhancement that support student readiness for clinical practice
• Coordinate accreditation, assessment, and compliance activities while maintaining clear documentation and reporting
• Partner with administrators, peer chairs, and staff on shared initiatives that advance student learning and institutional goals
• Champion student success through oversight of academic support processes, advising pathways, and community engagement
• Steward divisional resources, schedules, and day-to-day operations with attention to efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in clinical psychology or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
• Prior academic leadership or department-level administrative experience in higher education
• Established record of teaching, clinical training, or practice within applied clinical psychology
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
• Familiarity with accreditation standards, program assessment, and continuous-improvement practices
• Dedication to inclusive academic communities and equitable student outcomes
