What You'll Do

• Partner with nurses and providers to carry out delegated patient support tasks within the emergency department.
• Obtain and document vital signs, report changes, and assist with routine monitoring.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and basic comfort measures.
• Prepare rooms, restock supplies, and keep care areas organized and sanitary.
• Support personal care needs such as hygiene, toileting, and feeding when appropriate.
• Transport patients safely to diagnostic or treatment locations as directed.
• Observe patient status and promptly communicate findings using clear, professional rapport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
• Capability and willingness to work the full-time 7p-7a schedule at Main Campus, Columbus, OH.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and assist with patient movement for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and the care team.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow clinical instructions accurately.
