As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Rad Tech) I or II - Cath Lab Flex Team member with Hshs in Green Bay, Wisconsin, you apply specialized radiologic skills during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular cases. The work demands adaptability across varying case loads, technical confidence with imaging tools, and close coordination with physicians and clinical colleagues to promote safe, efficient outcomes in the catheterization laboratory. Flexibility allows coverage of different functional needs on the flex team while upholding high standards of technical accuracy and patient-centered practice.

Core Duties

• Prepare procedure suites, sterile packs, and specialized devices ahead of cardiac catheterizations and related interventions.
• Operate fluoroscopic and other imaging systems to generate clear views that guide physicians throughout invasive cardiovascular cases.
• Track hemodynamic readings, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses in real time, notifying the team of any concerning shifts.
• Position individuals for optimal imaging access, assist with draping, and help transition them after procedures conclude.
• Keep equipment calibrated and ready, restock specialty materials, and address basic technical concerns as they arise.
• Enter accurate procedure details into records and support ongoing quality and safety initiatives within the lab.
• Move fluidly among scrub, circulating, and monitoring functions according to the Cath Lab Flex Team needs and daily case demands.

Requirements

• Active radiologic technologist credentials, such as ARRT registration, aligned with Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Rad Tech) I or II expectations.
• Working knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and standard invasive lab techniques.
• Familiarity with sterile technique and fluoroscopy systems routinely used during catheterization procedures.
• Ability to stay focused and accurate during high-intensity or emergent cases common in a cath lab environment.
• Clear communication skills for effective teamwork with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists.
• Life-support certifications typically required for invasive cardiovascular technologist roles, along with readiness to learn site-specific protocols.
