Role Overview

As Solution Architect at Dtna you will translate complex requirements into clear architectural blueprints, ensure systems scale reliably, and keep cross-functional groups aligned on technical direction. Working on-site in Charlotte, NC US, you will serve as a primary technical voice that bridges business needs and engineering delivery so platforms remain robust, secure, and maintainable.

Your Responsibilities

• Capture and evaluate stakeholder requirements to define end-to-end solution designs
• Create architecture diagrams, decision records, and technical standards for development and infrastructure teams
• Assess trade-offs among technology options and recommend approaches that balance performance, cost, and maintainability
• Partner with developers, product owners, and operations staff to oversee implementation and resolve design issues
• Review code and infrastructure choices to confirm alignment with the agreed architecture
• Identify risks, document non-functional requirements, and guide continuous improvement of systems
• Mentor colleagues on architectural patterns and emerging best practices

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable senior technical design role
• Deep understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture principles
• Ability to model systems, produce clear diagrams, and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with contemporary software development practices, integration patterns, and cloud-native concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under real-world constraints
• Effective collaboration and facilitation abilities within cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
