About This Position

The Teachers-at-Home program brings RECEX's evidence-based early learning approach beyond the digital space into family homes. As a Home-Based Early Childhood Educator, you'll conduct in-home learning sessions for children aged 0–6, partnering with families to implement structured, play-based activities. This is a full-time role based in Mumbai, combining direct engagement with young learners and their caregivers, guided by research-backed methods designed to support healthy child development without screen dependency.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and conduct early learning sessions in children's homes across Mumbai
• Implement age-appropriate, screen-free activities grounded in developmental research
• Build collaborative relationships with families and primary caregivers
• Observe and document each child's developmental progress and learning milestones
• Tailor activities to meet individual child needs and family circumstances
• Maintain a warm, engaging learning environment whilst adhering to programme guidelines

Who We're Looking For

• Training or experience in early childhood education, child development, or related field
• Proven experience working with young children in an educational or care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with families
• Reliability, punctuality, and genuine commitment to consistent learner engagement
• Passion for child-centred development and play-based, screen-free learning
• Ability to travel within Mumbai to visit children's homes regularly
