Position Summary

Core Duties
- Pilot Class A tractor-trailer combinations across interstate routes while keeping freight secure and deliveries on schedule
- Perform detailed pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections of brakes, tires, lights, and coupling systems
- Record Hours of Service, trip details, and vehicle condition accurately using electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch on route updates, weather concerns, and estimated arrival times
- Maintain load integrity and complete all shipping documentation without delay
- Apply defensive driving habits and observe all Department of Transportation safety rules
- Flag mechanical concerns quickly and support basic trailer or tractor readiness checks
What We're Looking For
