Part-Time, Float Teller (T/TH/F/S) – Roosevelt Park

Lake Michigan Credit Union is hiring a part-time float teller at our Roosevelt Park location in Muskegon. In this role, you'll provide crucial support across our branch, handling member transactions and delivering the service that defines our credit union culture.

Role Overview

As a float teller working Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, you'll serve as a key point of contact for our credit union members at our Roosevelt Park branch. This fully on-site position involves processing daily transactions, supporting member needs, and maintaining operational excellence. Your role includes regional support within Muskegon County, allowing you to build connections across our branch network while delivering dependable service to the members who rely on us.

Your Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments for members
• Operate teller technology systems while maintaining transaction accuracy
• Respond to member inquiries and assist with account services
• Reconcile and balance your teller drawer daily
• Identify opportunities to introduce members to additional credit union services
• Follow all security and compliance protocols
• Support operations at multiple branch locations within the region as needed

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Experience handling cash, numbers, or customer transactions
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong mathematical accuracy
• Natural ability to communicate with and assist diverse members
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy periods
• Dedication to consistent, reliable attendance
• Eagerness to learn our systems and thrive in our credit union environment
