Ag Loan Officer

The Opportunity

As an Ag Loan Officer at Farm Credit Services of America, you'll build and grow the association's agricultural lending business by connecting with farmers and ranchers throughout the Murray, Calloway County market. You'll identify creditworthy businesses with financing needs and structure solutions that support agricultural success—working directly with customers to understand their operations, capital requirements, and long-term vision.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop new lending relationships by conducting sales calls and meeting with prospective agricultural clients
• Evaluate farm operations and gather detailed financial information to assess creditworthiness
• Analyze customer credit needs and propose tailored financing solutions
• Expand existing customer relationships by identifying additional lending and service opportunities
• Meet Association-established loan production goals while maintaining portfolio quality
• Stay current on Farm Credit products, services, and industry trends affecting the agricultural sector

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of agricultural operations, markets, or lending preferred
• Strong relationship-building and sales ability
• Analytical skills for reviewing financial statements and assessing credit risk
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts
