Contracts Manager

Saab is hiring a Contracts Manager to lead contract operations in Tully, Onondaga County. This full-time role drives the end-to-end contract lifecycle—from proposal development through execution—within our Air Traffic Management and Defense business sectors.

The Opportunity

As Contracts Manager, you'll steward a diverse portfolio of agreements supporting Saab's defense and aviation missions. Based in one of our offices—East Syracuse, NY; Quincy, MA; Orlando, FL; or Auburn Hills, MI—you'll own all phases of contract management, from pre-award strategy through post-signature administration. Your work shapes how we structure deals with customers and partners, directly enabling mission-critical programs across the Air Traffic Management and Defense divisions.

Core Duties

• Develop contract proposals and negotiate terms with customers and subcontractors
• Execute contracts, amendments, and modifications within defined parameters
• Ensure all agreements comply with federal procurement regulations and company policy
• Administer contract modifications and manage changes throughout performance
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, operations, and legal teams to resolve contract issues
• Maintain contract records, documentation, and reporting for stakeholders

Who We're Looking For

• 3+ years of contract management experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate across technical and business teams
• Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS)
• Proficiency with contract management platforms and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple contracts concurrently with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in business, law, engineering, or related discipline
