About This Position

K&B Transportation is expanding its refrigerated fleet and seeking professional CDL-A drivers ready to tackle varied route assignments in the Mid-Atlantic region. Whether you prefer dedicated regional routes, over-the-road hauls, or our innovative Road Warrior program—where you run continuous routes for two months, then take ten consecutive days at home—we have an opportunity that fits your driving style. Our minimum guarantee of $1,725 per week ensures stability while you earn up to $2,200 weekly based on your performance and route selection.

Core Duties

• Operate refrigerated semi-trucks safely across assigned routes while maintaining temperature-controlled cargo integrity
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting condition and any maintenance issues
• Manage cargo loading and unloading coordination with shippers and receivers
• Navigate time management across dedicated, regional, and over-the-road routes while adhering to hours-of-service regulations
• Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation, and compliance records
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and vehicle concerns

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with refrigerated tanker endorsement
• Minimum two years of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean driving record meeting DOT standards
• Ability to pass medical certification and background screening
• Professional communication skills and reliable work habits
• Willingness to work varied schedules based on route assignments
