Engineering Project Manager – Land Development

About the Role

As an Engineering Project Manager in Land Development at CAGE Engineering, you'll oversee all phases of site development projects, from initial planning and permitting through construction and closeout. Core Duties

• Plan, execute, and oversee land development projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget objectives
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and municipal agencies to facilitate project workflows and resolve issues proactively
• Manage project teams, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive accountability and growth
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, schedules, permits, and compliance records
• Track project performance metrics and communicate progress reports to leadership and clients regularly
• Navigate permitting, regulatory requirements, and agency approvals specific to land development in Hillsborough County
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success, cost, or timeline

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of project management experience in land development, site engineering, or related construction disciplines
• Strong knowledge of land development processes, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site improvements
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office; familiarity with CAD or design tools is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with Hillsborough County permitting and regulatory environment preferred
