About This Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented graduate student to support our project management operations on a part-time basis. You will work alongside experienced professionals to advance key initiatives that enhance transportation access and equity across our service area. This internship is designed to give you real-world exposure to the complexities of managing major transit projects while contributing meaningfully to the MBTA's operational goals.

What You'll Do

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate communication between cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, and progress reports
• Support the analysis and organization of project data and performance metrics
• Contribute to administrative tasks that keep complex initiatives running smoothly
• Help identify process improvements and best practices within existing workflows

Who We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate program in project management, business administration, transportation planning, or related field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency with standard productivity software and data tools
• Genuine interest in public transportation and civic infrastructure
