The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority invites graduate students to join our team as a Senior Project Management (QCO) Intern in Boston, Massachusetts. About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented graduate student to support our project management operations on a part-time basis. You will work alongside experienced professionals to advance key initiatives that enhance transportation access and equity across our service area. This internship is designed to give you real-world exposure to the complexities of managing major transit projects while contributing meaningfully to the MBTA's operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and deliverables
- Coordinate communication between cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, and progress reports
- Support the analysis and organization of project data and performance metrics
- Contribute to administrative tasks that keep complex initiatives running smoothly
- Help identify process improvements and best practices within existing workflows
Who We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate program in project management, business administration, transportation planning, or related field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
