Laboratory Technician

Guidehouse is hiring a Laboratory Technician for full-time, on-site work in Druid, Baltimore, Maryland. This essential role supports the operational objectives of the National Institute on Aging and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Position Summary

Join Guidehouse as a Laboratory Technician and contribute to the important work of the National Institute on Aging. This full-time position is based in our Baltimore laboratory facility and involves providing critical support services to the agency's operations. No travel is required, and you'll work in a standard on-site arrangement to support laboratory operations and ensure the highest standards of specimen handling.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming laboratory samples according to standard protocols
• Maintain detailed and accurate sample logs in laboratory information systems
• Preserve specimen integrity through proper handling, storage, and documentation procedures
• Support overall laboratory operations and quality assurance initiatives
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to meet operational objectives

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Prior experience in laboratory work, sample handling, or related technical field
• Strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities
• Meticulous attention to detail in specimen management
• Ability to work full-time on-site in the Baltimore area
