The Opportunity

This is a lease-purchase owner-operator position for an experienced CDL-A professional ready to maximize earnings and build equity in your own operation. You'll run dedicated over-the-road routes earning between $1.25 and $1.75 per mile, with potential gross annual earnings of $190,000 to $230,000. Christenson Transportation provides the framework and support to help you transition into independent ownership while maintaining the autonomy and income an owner-operator expects. We're looking for reliable drivers ready to start right away.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate a dry van tractor-trailer safely and efficiently across multi-state over-the-road routes
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintain your equipment to regulatory standards
• Meet delivery schedules while strictly adhering to Hours of Service regulations and DOT compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation including logbooks, manifests, and delivery records
• Coordinate with dispatch regarding route progress, delays, and any mechanical issues
• Provide professional service to shippers and receivers at each pickup and delivery location

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and verifiable work history
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers in over-the-road service
• Current DOT medical certification
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Mechanical knowledge and commitment to vehicle maintenance
