Receiving Operator

Remington Seeds is hiring a Receiving Operator in Russellville, Logan County for a full-time position. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of bulk seed shipments upon arrival at our facility, ensuring every load meets our strict product integrity standards.

Role Overview

As a Receiving Operator at Remington Seeds, you perform a critical function in our quality assurance process. You'll inspect incoming bulk seed deliveries, evaluate their condition, and verify that all products meet our company's rigorous specifications before they proceed through our production system. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety directly impact the quality of seed we deliver to our customers.

Core Duties

• Conduct quality inspections on every incoming truck load of seed using established testing protocols
• Perform soak tests to evaluate seed quality and identify any issues with product integrity
• Verify hilum purity, moisture content levels, and assess products for contamination
• Inspect seed samples for mechanical damage and other defects
• Document inspection results and quality findings according to company standards
• Perform all work activities in compliance with our Quality Management System and safety requirements
