As a Traveling Superintendent at Uprite Construction, you will oversee the daily operations on construction project sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate and supervise all construction activities from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the construction site.
- Ensure project construction is in accordance with design specifications, budget, and timelines.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage subcontractors and construction crews, ensuring clear communication and professional conduct.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to all building requirements.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and ensure machinery and equipment are available as needed.
- Prepare and submit project status reports, updating management on the progress, changes, and issues.
- Resolve any conflicts that arise and provide solutions to minimize project delays.
- Travel to various job sites as required by project demands.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, with at least 5 years in the field.
- Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using construction management software.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
