TEAM Industrial Services is hiring a full-time Electrical Estimator in Marquette, Marquette County to join our growing team. This hands-on role combines technical expertise with project coordination—you'll assess electrical work scopes, deliver precise cost forecasts, and guide bids that win the business.
About the Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll be the bridge between field operations and client expectations. Working on industrial, manufacturing, and facility-focused projects, you'll prepare detailed estimates that reflect material costs, labor effort, and realistic timelines. Your estimates drive profitability and customer confidence in everything TEAM Industrial Services delivers.
What You'll Do
- Review electrical project specifications, site plans, and technical drawings to understand scope
- Calculate material quantities and pricing from supplier quotes and historical data
- Estimate labor hours based on crew productivity and project conditions
- Prepare comprehensive written proposals and bid documents for internal and client review
- Conduct site assessments and walkthroughs to validate estimates against field reality
- Collaborate with electricians, project managers, and operations to refine estimates and improve accuracy
- Maintain and organize estimating files, templates, and cost databases
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards in all estimates
What We're Looking For
- Solid background in electrical work—either trade experience or estimating background in industrial/commercial settings
- Comfort with spreadsheets, estimating software, and digital tools
- Strong math skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound judgment calls under incomplete information
- Reliability and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
