Logistician II

Knowledge Management, Inc is hiring a Logistician II to join our operations team in Butlerville, Jennings County. As an MBE and SDB specializing in logistics, warehouse services, and enterprise solutions, we're seeking a detail-oriented professional to optimize our supply chain and distribution operations.

About the Role

The Logistician II position is a full-time role that combines analytical thinking with hands-on operational management. You'll oversee logistics planning, coordinate warehouse activities, and manage inventory systems that keep our clients' missions running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute logistics plans that meet client requirements and operational constraints
• Manage procurement cycles, supplier relationships, and vendor performance
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels, stock rotation, and warehouse organization
• Coordinate across planning, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure seamless operations
• Track metrics, generate reports, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all logistics activities

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or related field
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with logistics software, WMS platforms, and data analysis
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, distribution networks, and procurement
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
