About the Role

In this full-time role, you'll be the face of our store at the registers, helping customers complete their shopping experience smoothly and professionally. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $15 to $28 per hour, based on experience, location, and performance. You'll also have the opportunity to earn additional compensation through performance incentives and schedule-based premiums.

What You'll Do

• Operate checkout registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Scan merchandise, process payments via cash, card, and digital methods, and issue receipts
• Bag items following Walmart standards and company policies
• Check identification when required by law and company policy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and answer routine questions
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standards
• Support the team by assisting with other checkout-related duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
• Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling
• Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale system (preferred)
