Driver Redimix

Team Elmer's is hiring a full-time RediMix Driver to join our operations team in Grawn, Grand Traverse County. If you're interested in operating ready-mix concrete delivery equipment and serving construction sites across the Traverse City area, we want to talk to you.

About the Role

This full-time RediMix driver position centers on operating and managing a concrete mixer truck equipped with an onboard auxiliary mixer. You'll transport fresh concrete from our batch plant to active job sites, ensuring every load arrives in perfect condition. It's hands-on, physical work that directly supports the construction projects building our community.

What You'll Do

• Operate the concrete mixer truck, positioning it under the loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water
• Activate and control the auxiliary mixer throughout loading and transit
• Drive the loaded truck to construction sites with safety and precision, observing weight and traffic regulations
• Coordinate with site foremen and supervisors regarding delivery timing and placement requirements
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to keep the truck operation-ready
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and adhere to all safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• A current commercial driver's license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one
• Mechanical understanding and comfort troubleshooting truck systems
• Dependable attendance and a professional work approach
• Ability to work independently while responding to dispatch direction
• Physical fitness for the demands of the role
• Previous concrete delivery or RediMix experience is valued but not required—we provide comprehensive training
