Truck Driver Owner Operator – OTR – Specialized

Skyview Farms is hiring experienced Owner Operator Truck Drivers based in West Lafayette for full-time, over-the-road routes. Weekly earning potential reaches $9,000 to $12,000 in gross revenue for qualified drivers who bring their own truck and Class A CDL.

About the Role

This full-time, over-the-road owner operator position specializes in transporting hopper freight and other specialized cargo. You'll receive consistent load assignments through planned dispatch, competitive rates, and the autonomy of running your own operation with our dispatch support to keep you moving.

What You'll Do

• Operate your own truck on long-haul routes transporting specialized hopper freight and related cargo
• Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments and route planning to optimize efficiency and profitability
• Maintain accurate logbooks, shipping documentation, and regulatory compliance records
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and any schedule changes
• Manage your independent business operations including fuel, equipment care, and vehicle upkeep

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum two years of over-the-road trucking experience
• Ownership and operation of your own truck
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
• Professional reliability and strong communication skills
• Previous hopper or specialized freight experience preferred
