Social Media Strategy Team Leader

InspHire is seeking a Social Media Strategy Team Leader to join our content operations in New York City, New York. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to build and direct a social media team while shaping the online presence of our entertainment and humor brands across major platforms.

About the Role

As Social Media Strategy Team Leader, you'll oversee strategic planning and execution across our social channels, with a particular focus on Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok. This position combines team leadership with hands-on strategy development, enabling you to drive audience growth and engagement for a portfolio of comedy and entertainment properties.

What You'll Do

• Build and lead a team responsible for social media strategy, content creation, and community management
• Develop integrated content strategies tailored to each platform's unique audience and format
• Oversee day-to-day content planning, production, and publishing across Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, and related channels
• Set performance benchmarks and analyze metrics to guide optimization and growth decisions
• Collaborate with creative, editorial, and engineering teams to ensure consistent brand voice and quality
• Stay current with platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging social media opportunities
• Report on team performance and provide strategic recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading social media teams or managing multi-channel content strategy
• Deep familiarity with Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, and their respective audiences and content dynamics
• Strong understanding of audience growth, engagement metrics, and platform analytics
• Demonstrated ability to create or guide creation of high-performing, shareable content
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members
• Background in entertainment, digital media, humor, or related content verticals is a plus
