Join Hendrick as a Service Advisor at our Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Charlotte, North Carolina. We're seeking an experienced Service Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service and drive service revenue at our 6710 E. Independence Blvd. location.
About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the primary point of contact between our service team and our valued customers. You'll manage the customer experience from the moment they arrive—greeting customers, understanding their service needs, documenting vehicle concerns, and coordinating with our technicians to deliver timely, high-quality repairs and maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers, listen to their service concerns, and identify maintenance and repair needs
- Document service requests accurately and communicate work orders to service technicians
- Schedule service appointments and manage the customer flow throughout the day
- Present service recommendations and explain work performed to customers in clear, professional language
- Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Process payments and handle administrative tasks related to service transactions
- Collaborate with management and technicians to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Professional communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment and manage multiple customer interactions
- Organizational skills with attention to detail when documenting service requests
- Experience in automotive service, customer service, or sales preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus
- Reliable transportation and availability to work a full-time dealership schedule
- Willingness to learn DMS (dealership management system) software
