Quality Manager

Emerald Technologies, a precision manufacturing company in Salem, Rockingham County, is hiring a Quality Manager to lead its quality operations and ensure full compliance with demanding industry standards. In this full-time position, you'll oversee quality systems, drive process improvements, and serve as the steward of the company's Quality Management System.

About the Role

As Quality Manager at Emerald Technologies, you'll serve as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System, ensuring the Salem facility maintains adherence to ISO 13485, AS9100, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001. You'll ensure compliance with all customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements while leading the quality function to support the organization's growth and customer success.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System, driving compliance with ISO 13485, AS9100, and other applicable standards
• Lead the Quality Department team, establishing and communicating quality policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct internal audits, management reviews, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) investigations to resolve quality gaps
• Manage customer quality audits, supplier evaluations, and third-party certification assessments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality metrics, identifying root causes, and implementing systemic enhancements
• Develop comprehensive training programs ensuring all staff understand quality standards and their responsibilities
• Represent the organization in dealings with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities on quality matters

What We're Looking For

• Proven Quality Manager or Quality Engineer experience in regulated manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or electronics assembly
• Expert knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100, and related quality management frameworks
• Solid understanding of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and industry-standard quality control practices
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members while fostering a quality-driven culture
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; ASQ certification (CQE or similar) preferred
