Junior Security Architect

About the Role

As a Junior Security Architect, you will support the development and deployment of security architectures that protect federal systems from evolving cyber threats. Working alongside experienced security architects and government stakeholders, you'll help translate complex security requirements into technical designs that comply with federal standards and best practices.

What You'll Do

• Participate in designing security architectures for federal systems, networks, and applications
• Support evaluation and selection of security technologies and platforms
• Assist in developing security requirements, specifications, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with government clients to identify security needs and operational constraints
• Help ensure federal systems meet compliance and certification requirements
• Contribute to security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis activities
• Document architectural designs and capture security decisions and rationale

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Foundational understanding of security architecture principles and design methodologies
• Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
