About the Role

As an Adjunct Faculty member in 3D Animation, you'll teach animation courses across skill levels while developing curriculum that bridges academic instruction with real-world industry practices. This role combines your technical expertise with your ability to mentor the next generation of animators in a community college setting.

What You'll Do

• Teach 3D animation courses, from foundational concepts to advanced techniques and specialized topics
• Develop and deliver course materials, demonstrations, and hands-on projects using industry-standard software
• Create assignments and assessments that evaluate both technical proficiency and creative problem-solving
• Mentor students through their learning journey, providing constructive feedback on technical work and artistic direction
• Maintain current knowledge of 3D animation tools, production pipelines, and emerging industry trends
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate animation concepts across related disciplines
• Assess learning outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of the animation program

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in 3D Animation, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects, or related field
• Demonstrated expertise with industry-standard 3D animation software such as Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or comparable tools
• Professional background in animation, visual effects, game development, motion graphics, or similar creative discipline
• Proven ability to teach and communicate complex animation concepts effectively to diverse learners
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices
• Willingness to stay current with evolving animation technologies and best practices
