About the Role

This Assistant Project Manager position supports the full spectrum of commercial construction project delivery. You'll work directly with experienced project leaders, gaining practical hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial construction management while contributing meaningfully to project success.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily project activities, schedules, and on-site management responsibilities
• Track project budgets, monitor costs, and support financial reporting and analysis
• Facilitate communication among project teams, subcontractors, and material suppliers
• Support site safety compliance and help enforce company safety standards and protocols
• Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings
• Maintain comprehensive project records, documentation, and correspondence
• Participate in job site meetings and provide field observation and support
• Develop commercial construction expertise through hands-on experience and professional mentorship

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Proven organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (AutoCAD or equivalent a plus)
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license for regular site visits and project meetings
• Commitment to continuous learning in commercial construction and project management
