About the Role
As a CDL-A driver at Oakley Transport, you'll manage regional and long-haul freight operations in dry van and reefer trailers. This full-time position offers the stability of Southeast-focused routing and predictable home time—no guesswork, no constant uncertainty.
What You'll Do
- Operate dry van and reefer trailers on Southeast regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain safety standards and perform vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
- Meet delivery schedules and coordinate with dispatch for load assignments
- Log hours in full compliance with HOS regulations
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance
Pay and Benefits
- Base pay up to 65 cents per mile
- Weekly earnings averaging $1,600–$1,700 for top drivers
- Annual earning potential of $97,500+ for experienced drivers
- Monthly productivity bonus: up to 4 cents per mile
- Monthly safe driving bonus: up to 8 cents per mile
- 90% of routes run within the Southeast—predictable home time and regional stability
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2+ years of recent CDL-A driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background screening
- Professional attitude and genuine commitment to safety
- Strong communication skills and reliability
