This full-time position combines career coaching, job preparation, and workforce development to help participants build sustainable employment futures.

About the Role

As a Career Navigator, you'll be the primary career guide for participants transitioning into construction and related trade careers. Working 40 hours each week, you'll provide coaching and support that equips individuals with the skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce and thrive on the job.

What You'll Do

• Guide participants through career readiness training tailored to construction and trade occupations
• Evaluate participant skills, experience, and career interests to identify optimal pathways
• Lead job preparation workshops covering resume development, interviewing, and workplace culture
• Build relationships between participants and employers in construction and related sectors
• Support participants post-hire to ensure long-term employment success and growth
• Document participant engagement, progress milestones, and employment outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (pay differential available)
• Background in career development, workforce support services, or related fields
• Understanding of construction apprenticeships and skilled trade career pathways
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with participants from various backgrounds
• Detail-oriented with solid record-keeping and data tracking habits

Compensation & Details

Full-time position in Clearlake, Lake County at an expected rate of $25.00 per hour. Bilingual capability in Spanish and English qualifies for pay differential consideration.
