Associate Accounts Payable Analyst

McKesson, a leading Fortune 10 healthcare company headquartered in Irving, Dallas, is hiring an Associate Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position for someone ready to contribute to the backbone of healthcare operations while developing their accounting career.

About the Role

As an Associate Accounts Payable Analyst at McKesson, you'll support critical payment and vendor management functions within our fast-paced finance department. You'll work with internal teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and disbursements, contributing to the smooth financial operations that enable healthcare accessibility and affordability.

What You'll Do

• Process, validate, and record invoices and payment documents into our accounting systems
• Reconcile accounts payable records and investigate discrepancies
• Support vendor communications and maintain vendor files
• Assist with invoice matching, coding, and three-way reconciliation
• Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Organize financial documents and maintain accurate AP records
• Support compliance with company policies and accounting standards

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant accounting coursework preferred
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable practices
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
