About the Role
As an Electronic Engineering Technician with Radio Engineering Industries Inc, you'll work hands-on with hardware, test equipment, and manufacturing processes. What You'll Do
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic components and circuit boards for infotainment and surveillance systems
- Perform quality assurance testing on fleet management solutions before deployment
- Support engineers with prototyping, technical documentation, and product modifications
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and electrical issues using standard test equipment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability
- Maintain detailed technical records and documentation of testing procedures and results
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards in laboratory and manufacturing environments
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in electronics preferred
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- Solid understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and component identification
- Hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, or related technical work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and datasheets
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
