About the Role

As an Electronic Engineering Technician with Radio Engineering Industries Inc, you'll work hands-on with hardware, test equipment, and manufacturing processes. This role is central to developing and maintaining cutting-edge infotainment, video surveillance, and fleet management systems that serve public transit agencies, railways, school districts, and commercial transportation operators.

What You'll Do

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic components and circuit boards for infotainment and surveillance systems
• Perform quality assurance testing on fleet management solutions before deployment
• Support engineers with prototyping, technical documentation, and product modifications
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and electrical issues using standard test equipment
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product reliability
• Maintain detailed technical records and documentation of testing procedures and results
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards in laboratory and manufacturing environments

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in electronics preferred
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
• Solid understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and component identification
• Hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, or related technical work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and datasheets
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Openness to learning new technologies and industry-specific applications
