About the Role

This is a full-time position where you'll be the first to shape the resident experience. Working independently and as part of a team, you'll transform vacant apartment homes into move-in ready spaces by executing detailed preparation work according to established community standards. You'll take pride in your craftsmanship and attention to detail, knowing that your work directly impacts resident satisfaction and community reputation.

What You'll Do

• Execute the complete make-ready process for each residential unit, including all repairs, improvements, and finishing touches required before occupancy
• Apply caulking and sealants around windows, kitchen sinks, bathtubs, showers, and toilets to ensure proper water resistance and durability
• Inspect drywall throughout units for damage, complete necessary repairs, and prepare surfaces for painting
• Conduct touch-up painting and color corrections to meet community aesthetic standards
• Test fixtures, appliances, and systems to confirm proper function
• Follow the community's make-ready checklist to ensure comprehensive and consistent unit preparation
• Report issues or needed materials to your supervisor and coordinate with other trades as necessary

What We're Looking For

• Experience in apartment maintenance, make-ready work, residential construction, or related property preparation
• Practical ability with basic hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliability and willingness to meet community move-in timelines
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
