La Tourelle Inn & Spa is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Ithaca location in Tompkins County. This is a full-time position where you'll perform essential maintenance and repair work to support our hospitality operation and keep our guests comfortable.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at La Tourelle Inn & Spa, you'll be responsible for keeping our facilities in excellent working condition. Your hands-on technical expertise will address everything from emergency repairs to preventive maintenance, ensuring systems and equipment function reliably every day.
What You'll Do
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building infrastructure
- Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
- Document maintenance activities and track facility conditions
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager and operations team
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in maintenance, facility repair, or a skilled trade
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Dependable work ethic with responsive customer service mindset
- Flexibility to address facility needs as required
