Aces Management is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Desert Hot Springs, Riverside County, to provide compassionate, hands-on support to adults with developmental, physical, and behavioral disabilities living in our residential community. About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional with Aces Management, you'll work directly with 4–6 residents in a residential setting, assisting with their daily routines, personal care, community activities, and individual goals. This position combines caregiving, advocacy, and life skills support as you help clients navigate daily challenges and build confidence.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care assistance including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Support activities of daily living and help residents develop independent living skills
- Facilitate community integration by accompanying clients on outings, appointments, and social activities
- Monitor health, safety, and well-being; report changes or concerns to supervisors
- Implement behavior support plans and respond calmly and professionally to behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client activities and support provided
- Advocate for client needs and work collaboratively with the care team
- Assist with household tasks and maintain a safe, clean residential environment
What We're Looking For

- Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to provide hands-on support, including mobility assistance
- Clear communication skills and willingness to document and share information with supervisors
- High school diploma or GED; prior caregiving or Direct Support Professional experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients safely when needed
- Willingness to complete training and adhere to Aces Management's care standards and policies
