Senior Operations Manager- Bedding

Ashley Furniture Industries, Llc. is hiring a Senior Operations Manager for our bedding division in Aberdeen, Monroe County. Lead operational excellence and drive continuous improvement in one of the home furnishings industry's most dynamic facilities.

About the Role

This full-time position places you at the center of our bedding operations, where you'll oversee production teams, optimize workflows, and ensure consistent quality and efficiency. You'll work directly with cross-functional partners to keep our Aberdeen facility running at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards our customers depend on.

What You'll Do

• Direct bedding operations teams, managing schedules, staffing, and individual performance
• Improve production workflows through lean methodologies and data-driven process optimization
• Monitor equipment, quality metrics, and productivity against operational targets
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and product teams to meet customer commitments consistently
• Own operational budgeting, cost control, and KPI tracking for your department
• Maintain rigorous safety and regulatory compliance across all production areas
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities without compromising output or quality

What We're Looking For

• Five or more years in operations management, ideally within furniture or bedding manufacturing
• Demonstrated success leading manufacturing teams and delivering operational improvements
• Solid analytical foundation with hands-on experience in production planning and control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to detail in a complex environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or supply chain preferred
• Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, data-driven manufacturing culture
