Pioneers Medical Center, located in Meeker in Rio Blanco County, Colorado, is hiring a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a full-time travel assignment beginning immediately. Over a thirteen-week engagement, you'll deliver expert surgical support in our operating room while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative healthcare environment.

About the Role

This is a direct-hire travel nursing position based in Meeker, Colorado. You'll join Pioneers Medical Center's surgical department, providing essential clinical expertise during operative procedures. The role requires a registered nurse licensed in Colorado who can commit to the full thirteen-week assignment and is available to begin as soon as possible.

What You'll Do

• Circulate during surgical procedures, managing the operating room environment and supporting the surgical team
• Maintain sterile field protocols and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and communicate changes to the surgical team
• Prepare operating rooms for scheduled cases and manage setup and breakdown
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum two years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate surgical cases
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Adaptability and willingness to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams
