About the Role
As an Emergency Room RN at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients across the full spectrum of emergency conditions. You'll work alongside a collaborative ED team to assess, stabilize, and support patients during their most urgent moments.
What You'll Do
- Perform rapid triage and ongoing patient assessment in the emergency department
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement physician-ordered interventions
- Manage patient flow, documentation, and communication with physicians and specialty services
- Respond to high-acuity situations, trauma, and resuscitation scenarios
- Educate patients and families while maintaining professional composure under pressure
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
What We're Looking For
- Current RN licensure in Kentucky
- Minimum 1–2 years of emergency nursing or acute care experience
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort with fast-paced, unpredictable environments
- BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)
