Join Life Time as a Barre and Strength Instructor across the US. We're seeking an energetic, certified fitness professional to lead dynamic group classes, inspire participants, and foster a welcoming community in one of our studio locations.
About the Role
As a Part Time Barre and Strength Instructor, you'll deliver engaging, high-energy classes that blend ballet-inspired barre technique with functional strength training. You'll guide diverse fitness levels through challenging yet achievable workouts, creating a supportive environment where every participant feels encouraged to reach their goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead group barre and strength classes with clear cueing, energy, and excellent form demonstration
- Provide exercise modifications to accommodate varying fitness levels and abilities
- Build meaningful connections with class participants to foster loyalty and consistent attendance
- Maintain studio equipment and class spaces in safe, clean condition
- Stay current with fitness trends and continue developing your instructional techniques
- Serve as a fitness resource and motivator for members both inside and outside the studio
- Collaborate with the studio team to create a positive, inclusive fitness community
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid group fitness certification (ACE, NASM, Fitness Professionals, or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching barre and/or strength training classes
- Strong knowledge of exercise science, proper form, and injury prevention
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Positive, energetic personality with genuine passion for fitness
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
