Service Manager – California & Colorado Operations

Jobsonboard is hiring a full-time Service Manager to lead field operations across Northern California, Southern California, and Denver, Colorado, based out of our Elk Grove headquarters in Sacramento County. You'll own commercial client relationships and supervise a technician team while bridging technical expertise and strategic leadership to drive operational excellence.

About the Role

As Service Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations for a growing field services division, ensuring high-quality delivery to major commercial accounts. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll mentor field staff, manage client expectations, and execute operational strategy across multiple service regions. You'll report directly to senior management and play a key role in scaling the company's service delivery footprint across the West and Mountain regions.

What You'll Do

• Manage high-value commercial client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for account issues and service enhancements
• Lead, train, and develop a team of field technicians to meet performance targets and maintain service quality standards
• Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution across your assigned service territory
• Monitor operational metrics, investigate service gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
• Liaise between field operations and headquarters to communicate client feedback, staffing needs, and market opportunities
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards across all service activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing field service teams, commercial accounts, or operations in construction, HVAC, electrical, or similar trades
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and direct reports
• Organizational skills to juggle multiple client needs, scheduling, and team performance simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset and comfort making decisions in dynamic field environments
• Willingness to travel within your assigned region for client visits and team management
• Full-time commitment to the role
