Senior Project Manager, (NSCALE)

Position Overview

NScale is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Global Controls, to lead the planning, governance, and delivery of multiple controls-related projects across EMEA, APAC, and the United States. This role is responsible for orchestrating complex, cross-functional workstreams spanning controls engineering, SCADA, OT networking, vendors, construction teams, and commissioning partners to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear executive visibility. Working in close partnership with technical subject matter experts, this leader owns program execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and reporting discipline rather than acting as the technical design authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of concurrent controls-related projects and workstreams across multiple regions, maintaining clear scope, priorities, milestones, and delivery accountability.
  • Build and maintain integrated project plans, master schedules, RAID logs, meeting cadences, and action trackers that provide transparency across engineering, construction, and operations stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with Controls Engineers, SCADA and OT Network SMEs, site teams, vendors, OEMs, commissioning teams, and regional partners to drive alignment and resolve blockers quickly.
  • Lead project governance activities including status reporting, executive updates, change control, budget tracking, issue escalation, and decision documentation.
  • Drive consistency across global delivery by establishing repeatable project management templates, runbooks, dashboards, and communication rhythms for controls programs.
  • Support readiness reviews for FAT, SAT, commissioning, turnover, and operational handoff, ensuring dependencies and deliverables are visible and actively managed.
  • Track risks, commercial impacts, schedule pressures, and cross-functional interdependencies, and proactively escalate issues with practical recovery recommendations.
  • Apply a continuous-improvement mindset to strengthen workflows, improve reporting quality, and streamline coordination across EMEA, APAC, and U.S.-based teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 10+ years of project or program management experience supporting technical infrastructure, data center, construction, energy, or similarly complex cross-functional programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing global or multi-region initiatives with distributed stakeholders and multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Strong command of project governance disciplines including scheduling, stakeholder communication, risk management, change management, issue tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Experience building and maintaining structured project documentation such as trackers, status dashboards, runbooks, meeting notes, and decision logs.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and drive alignment among engineering, operations, construction, and external partner teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

  • PMP certification.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement training.
  • Experience supporting controls, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, commissioning, or other mission-critical systems programs.
  • Data center construction or technical infrastructure delivery experience.
  • Experience creating digital reporting environments, SharePoint-based collaboration spaces, or similar project information hubs.
