Launch Manager (Post-M&A)

Dwelly

About Dwelly

Dwelly — a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, that is growing through a roll-up strategy acquiring estate agencies. The company leverages two arms: i) acquiring existing letting agencies, effectively buying its highly sticky, recurring revenue-type landlords portfolios, and then ii) building a top-notch technology to automate tenant management, payments, and post-rental property maintenance. The company seamlessly integrates AI services to automate all business processes within brick-and-mortar real estate agencies, integrating them into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in two months to radically improve the user experiences and increase efficiency of the business.

We’re a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology, and operations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented Launch Manager (Post-M&A) to drive seamless client and operational integrations across multiple locations in the UK. The Launch function is the primary engine that translates each acquisition into revenue growth – this role involves orchestrating the full launch cycle, from client onboarding and data migration to office and lease consolidations, with a keen focus on both operational excellence and human-centered employee transitions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be analytically minded, and demonstrate a deep familiarity with British business culture.

This role offers opportunities to expand responsibilities and eventually lead a larger team within the Launch function as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Launch Execution & Client Migration Management

  • Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth onboarding and migration of clients to the Dwelly platform.
  • Lead the data transfer, process migration, and onboarding communications for new clients to streamline their transition.
  • Actively resolve any operational roadblocks and ensure that all integration steps are completed efficiently.
  • Own post-launch issue resolution, including managing the risk register to protect the assets we’ve avquired.

2. Operational & Administrative Oversight

  • Coordinate and execute operational tasks such as accounting consolidation, office and car lease terminations, and other administrative clean-up activities.
  • Ensure all operational facets are thoroughly addressed, setting up each launch for long-term success.
  • Monitor KPIs and health metrics of acquired businesses, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing early interventions.

3. Talent & Team Transition Management

  • Act as a liaison with stakeholders to support a smooth transition while preserving morale and engagement.
  • Help local teams build confidence in new systems and processes, setting them up to perform post-launch.

4. Travel & Onsite Engagement

  • Travel extensively across the UK, typically spending 2-3 months at a time (typically a few days a week) in various locations to ensure hands-on support for integration processes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse regional teams, fostering a collaborative environment with a deep understanding of local business nuances.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Experience: strong operational, integration/launch experience, or following a top-tier career in strategy consulting.
  • Skills: Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented — must be extremely structured. Outstanding communication skills are essential.
  • Cultural Fit: An appreciation of British culture, with an ability to work with traditional teams and achieve results quickly. Hands-on approach to integration tasks.
  • Travel Flexibility: Readiness to work extensively on-site across the UK, adapting to new settings and maintaining a consistent, high level of service.
  • Experience in operational businesses and client-facing roles, with a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage numerous moving parts.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a “get things done” attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Startup mentality: resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – ability to approach challenges logically and propose practical solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with the potential for equity options based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our integration success.

What is it like being a Dwell-er?

Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.

What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of worlds’ most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.

This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all”.

  • Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
  • Passion for invention
  • Operational excellence
  • Long-term thinking
